Sure, McInnes has made a few darting runs, but his service from dummy half (including several 'Rein like' going the wrong way movements) has been substandard.

Said in JA.

Their hooker outplayed ours with about half the possession.

The way they were rushing our halves, McInnes should have run a lot more.

Just didn’t do it .

Tough night boys but Warriors absolutely perfect tonight. Isaac Luke amazing game, RTS excellent.

I think the wet weather made it harder for us. Wet weather suits Warriors style, stifles ours

To use a cliche, loss we had to have. Pressure released and onward to Anzac Day!

Nothing wrong with being positive in defeat while acknowledging areas to improve next week (kicking options in particular)

6-1, now let's get to 7-1!

Luke killed us a few times when he was at the Rabbits
Seems to grow a leg against us.
IMO Graham had his hands on the hall too much in attack in the last 25 minutes
But we were struggling regardless
Did Sele get on the paddock?

that game turned on a blatantly wrong call ...

Yes Graham knocked on but the warriors proceeded to run the ball 20m passing two or three times .. that is advantage taken ... We would be up 12-10 at that point .. They score off the back of a 40-20 soon after ...

Such a bad bad bad call

I look forward to all the negative nancys coming out of the woodwork with doom and gloom over a single loss. We've been brave but warriors linespeed has been just unreal, we were unlucky a few times.

Onward to the Roosters!

The loss needs to be into context;

1. the draw has been exceptionally kind over the first six weeks - four home games and the opposition substandard.

3. it was also the first time SGI faced a hostile crowd AND against a genuinely competitive side....it failed this test.

Our forwards were off tonight and were dominated by the Warriors. Is it the start of the slide we have been dreading or just the bounce of the ball. We did cross the line more times than the Warriors but there it is, we lost our first game of the season.
