I think Sanders would be some bait we maybe can use. Also Matterson. At the sametime they maybe happy to offload and front load.

I don't see Sivo being here. I think we still need to sign a few more guys. Feagi could be handy. So could be Jesse Mclean

I haven't paid any attention to Lomax until the last three weeks. He has got some serious talent and I think his game is going to be suited to fullback in the long-term.

I hope we get Lomax (and play him at centre, not fullback). But I think there is mounting pressure to try to keep him at Saints with each passing week. I surely hope we have a plan B (and C) in mind.
Mrs Arthur's steak and veg might not be enough to get him here. Flanagan is a very sharp operator. I always thought putting Lomax on the wing was just Flanno's way of jolting him into performing to his potential - with a return to centre (or fullback) on the cards after that, (rather than wanting to drive him out of the club). Well, the first part of his plan worked pretty well. I don't think we've got Lomax yet. (Of course, Flanagan might want to free up cap space no matter how well Lomax is playing - in which case he's created a monster for himself.)

BA said they were hoping to have it over the line in the next few days .

He is a competitor which is good as a centre or winger

I suspect Lomax will play fullback for us next season, with Gutherson in the centres - his sole Origin rep position. If Lomax does come early, then I suspect he'll play in our centres this season.

I dont think we signed him as a winger... IMHO we need a strike centre on the left more than we need a Sivo replacement.

The only problem with these lines of thought is that Lomax sees himself as either a right centre or a fullback and spits the dummy when he's picked at left centre or on the wing.

I really don't know where he thinks he fits in.

Would you guys be happy moving Penisini to accommodate him?

That might be the option - Penisini to left centre.
Or maybe Gutho, with Lomax at fullback.

But where does that leave Blaize Talagi?
