Mm we could be here all night saying this try was stupid, that try was farcical. What's done is done. It was an awesome game, a joy to watch, despite the poor (at times) officiating. Jeremy Smith was phenomenal. Thought Kearney had made a blunder taking Luke off when he did. Brought him back on soon which was good.

Gidley really, really, really confuses me. How on earth he retains his spot match after match is completely beyond me. Tonga was missing all night. You could be forgiven for forgetting he was playing at all. Kinda feel sorry for Slater, as much as I dislike the prick. Really feel for Tate. Outrageously sh*t luck the guy has.

I hate the whole player decides when he leaves thing that some people have going on. I'm of the opinion that when it is clear you aren't up to it anymore, and there are better players around, you retire. No player is bigger than the jersey, especially when the player is becoming a passenger.

World Champions & Four Nations Champions, and still far and away the best team in the world. Keep setting the standard for others to follow Kiwi's, Aussies may win the games that don't matter but we have the wood on them in the finals. SOO doesn't really prepare these Aussies for the intensity of international finals footy. Every Kiwi knows Billy Slater cracks under the pressure in these big games; he doesn't have enough bottle to handle the big international finals games, but he seems to go alright in Aussie club footy and in their little inter-state games.
