Imagine.
Imagine being Josh Kennedy right now. He has just written himself a chapter in Australian sporting immortality. I bet the big unit is going off his head.

Boy oh boy did we made it difficult for ourselves to qualify, leaving it to 10 minutes from full-time in our last pool match. Although we have been no where near as enthusiastic and consistent as we were last qualifying campaign, it was a tough but well-deserved win tonight.

Congrats and hopefully we can muster enough improvement now over the next 12 months so we can at least make it past the first round of the World Cup next year.

Now the focus moves to the more interesting scenario developing in the other AFC group. Both automatic qualifying positions are still up for grabs

Pfffffftttttt says Mr "we'll struggle to make 3rd"

Qualifying through Asia is supposed to be hard that's the point of qualifying.

Oseick made a the most boldest move to substitute Cahill. It was going to be either a horrible or a masterstroke of a decision. It ended up being the latter. Kudos to him for having the courage to do that.

Tommy Oar is the future. Had a great game today. Has great speed and footskills. Lesser version of Di Maria but a touch quicker.

He needs to play through the middle and take on defenders, unless he somehow learns how too cross overnight.

But we need to start with Rogic, Oar, Kruse. Not a massive follower of the u21s and under, do we have a striker at all?

That was painful to watch. Leaving it to the last 10mins to qualify ain't good for my health. Anyway Kennedy to the rescue, another with the knack of scoring vital goals..

Yes, he is called Josh Kennedy...

And against class defenders he becomes useless, when i say striker im talking about a Viduka type finisher, do we have coming through the ranks U15s, 17s 19s Olyroos.... Anything

Like whats happened with Taylor Tombides,Danning,Amini,Ryan Williams,Irvine. Who were all touted as the future.
