    2023-2028 next tv deal discussion

Contra went up $9.6 mill. So out of the reported $32.4mill tv increase $22.8mill was cash. Dolphins cost around $18mill a year so for extra Content, more brisbane games and the good will of gifting them the rights with no competition the nrl came out with Less than $5mill. hmmmmmm, Vlandys sure...

    2024 Crowd Watch

Commbank came across great even only just over half full. Sounded a good atmosphere. Great stadium that one. Perfect nrl stadium.

Nrl reported an increase on the $50mill 2022 Wagering revenue. That would mean a big drop off in merch and or digital revenue for the tv amount in licensing line to be $400mill.

Brisbane Tigers make their bid to be 18th team

Brisbane2 crowds already dropping off and playing in a 10k stadium as lack of confidence in drawing a crowd at Suncorp. danes laws of diminishing return seem to be coming true already, I thought it would take a couple of years longer.

great to see the game Taking off in Victoria, the more the merrier. It took Melbourne 25 years of a succesful nrl club to get participation rates to where perth was last year. moral of the story in invest in grass roots or expect little growth.

Thats making a big assumption that the $2bill announced was cash only. Why they'd leave $150mill off the announcement and for the first time ever makes themselves look worse by not including contra in the release Im still waiting on an answer for? And if it was $2bill thats not $400mill a year...

Worse one Ive been to was before the ground got refurbed. Cant remember the year (2005 or 2010 I think) but we were stood at the back of the old east stand with no roof and my kag pockets literally filled with water! That was nuts lol Yeh that low drawing game was a serious storm front. Wind and...

Only way any of those places works is if State or Fed or both chuck in tens of millions. Tassie Govt is chucking in $12mil a year for ten years for operational costs! No doubt if the Feds did same for NT it would be viable. And like said the AFL is about to get an extra $150mill a year, it can...
