was never expecting anything else from what tamou has shown this season, would be the same with the majority of nq fans. Luckily the one outstanding game he had in the last 3 seasons was the GF, the rest just heartless rubbish.

tamou is living off some devastating matches a few seasons ago. just like Williams did at Manly.

also a fine example of how NSW selectors pick teams blinded by a few games rather than consistently good performances.

Yes. Seems like there's an even deeper rot than missing Mansour and issues with team selection.

it's really sad that there is a very likely chance tamou will still get selected for nsw over vaughan

Tamou won't get selected over anyone. It is most likely the Penrith club won't have a player in the Origin game at all. Good thing too, they really need to get on the training paddock together and practice ball handling and defence.

Penriths prob is they seem to think if they focus on developing the best under 20's team every year that it will mean they have the best NRL team a few years later when those players get older

With the squad that they have, they really shouldn't be but I can't help but feel that they've cooked it.

Only got to make the 8, a 50% pass in RL will give the Panthers a ticket in the lottery, injury to key players in the top 4 sides . . . the really deserving teams . . . and Bob's your f**king aunty, anything could happen

They need to win 10 of 15 to even break even and its a pretty tight comp and at the moment i can't see it.

Next 6 games are:

Warriors @ Home - 50/50 game in past Penrith have wood over warriors but Warriors playing better.
Knights Away - Should win this but who know Newcastle are stringing better games for long period of time.
Dogs Away - 50/50 game
Raiders @ Home (Bathurst) - Will be tough to beat
Cowboys Away - Might get lucky depending on Origin fall out
Rabbitohs Away - Another 50/50 game

So they may win at most 3 of 6 and that's being generous based on current form that leaves them only only 2 games they can drop.

Very very tough run coming up

Wing is a position of importance these days imo. Look at the output raiders get from rapana. Its like carrying an extra prop

What happened to Sitaleki? Always thought the guy was a beast and massive coming into games after 20.mins.

Cannot understand how some of the middle imposters who played last night are in the 17 ahead of him. Has be been injured or out of form?

The last time I saw him play was against Newcastle and he blew us away. Also remember his game against the Broncos at Suncorp last year.
