Merrins good but not what we need. We have hard working props already. Many of them.
But him and Brown would give other teams nightmares with the offload.

Beaut Scott is not past it. His defense is still mongrel like and he carts up ball ok. Averaged over 9mtrs per carry and 27 tackles a game.

The fewer minutes they play the harder they can go. Plenty of our forwards could play 60 minutes, and Brown could work harder in defence if he didn't have to be out there for 80.

Merrin is a much better worker with good footwork before the line and has a good off load.
