NSW going forward

Yes I'm biased and it is pre season but gee Jack De Belin looks ready to get stuck in.
Jake t, Frizell and Brown mate
Lots of good backrowers running around but there's only room for 4 tbh and we have 4 current kangaroos to choose from so there should be no debate - Frizell, Trbojevic, Graham and Cordner. Interestingly enough the captain and probably the future Australian captain is the least talented out of the 4.

Only Trbojevic plays in the middle out of those blokes. Yes Friz can fill in but JDB is a specialist middle forward and would be great in rotation with J Trbojevic.
As I said, I'm biased and I don't think Graham offered a lot last year. As he really only plays the same position as Cordner, then only room for 1 on the left in my opinion, with Friz on the right.

graham played pretty well last year, probably why he played for Australia as well in the WC. Friz plays through the middle fine and the style of backrow rotation wasn't a problem. JDB is a good player but atm there's a few ahead of him.

Your opinion but I don't agree. There is no place for an edge backrower on the bench in my opinion. It's Graham or Cordner in the side and the other one misses out. Using Aussie selection is not necessarily the best gauge of a player. I use Aaron Woods as an example.

I agree Friz.

Graham was deadset crap in games 2 and 3 yet I was adamant he should have been one of the first picked due to early season form last year. What a let down.

Deserving of another chance - yes - as many were well below par but if he farks it up again then wave him goodbye permanently.

I rate JDB. Wouldn't trade him for any 13 in the comp (well, except Lolo, but that guy is a freak) I think the unfortunate thing for JDB is frizzell's versatility.

The blues need to have someone on the bench who can play on an edge in case one of the edge backrowers goes down or needs a spell. Because friz can play middle as well the obvious rotation is cordner/graham/friz. That leaves JDB in a head to head with jurbo, and while I think you can make a case, I don't think there's any way that JDB will dislodge jurbo after he played well last year for NSW and Australia.

What I hope to see;
8. Vaughan
10. McClean
11. Cordner
12. Friz
13. Jurbo
14. Fifita (eligibility??)
15. Klemmer
16. Graham
17. Utility

What we will likely see:
8. Woods
10. Fifita
11. Cordner
12. Jackson (honestly. How does this numpty keep getting picked?)
13. Jurbo
14. Klemmer
15. Graham
16. Friz
17. Utility

Yeah just throw 2 young kids in there at the same time in the two most important positions.
Also why would anyone drop Fifita especially when picking Woods?

Did I say that was the run on side? It's likely cleary Maloney with club combination.

As for fifita. He's a dog not welcome back nsw don't need him

So I watched the opening 30 minutes of Origin 3 last night and wow Josh Jackson was terrible! In the opening 10 minutes he knocked on in a set close to the queenland try line, then in the opening 20 gives away a strip penalty which helps Queensland out of their own end and finally under half an hour misses a tackle on Smith which lead to a break resulting in Val Holmes' 2nd try!

No different to the dog shit sides you come up with.

And no he's not, he's more of a liability than an asset
lol my sides are 10x better then yours, remember last year how you were advocating picking Pearce and Jackson - how did they go again? Or maybe you've forgotten and I need to bump those threads up again?

How much of a liability was Woods last year when he beautifully opened up that hole for Smith which almost resulted in a try had it now been for Brett Morris.

lol in who's fantasy world mate? you're a dribbler, and creating 100 fantasy teams every month makes you an ultimate one, the atypical armchair supercoach who thinks his fantasy sides wouldn't get flogged by 50 points if it actually took the field

I'm in the NO Fifita camp. He's a gronk and his presence is not required in camp.
If as was reported the other day, he said Fittler can come and chase him if he wants him, then he should have his cards marked, Never To Play Again.

Lol have a look back to my teams vs yours and see how successful yhe players I chose were compared to yours. Btw my sides don't change much if at all. What happened to your Pearce and Jackson last year :joy: Or does he need another chance to prove himself :joy:

Just to put things into perspective, this was the team you selected last year :joy:

Mansour after not playing for months coming back from a serious injury

Pearce the multiple time Origin failure

Josh Jackson a guy who failed before also

You left out the premiership winning and back up Australian half in Maloney and you left out one of New South Wales best players last year in Jack Bird

Just shows the sort of genius you are :joy:

drop the next 8 weeks, here's the team

1. tabasco sauce
2. mansour (back to training today)
3. tommy turbo
4. dugan
5. fergo
6. moylan
7. pearcey
8. woodsy
9. farah
10.jakey turbo
11.boyd cordner (c)
12.jackson
13.merrin

Yeah, that Origin side by Razor is quite dire.

If I had to pick it tomorrow based off what I saw in the finals 2017, the World Cup and the few trial matches I've seen:

1. James Tedesco

2. Josh Mansour

3. Jack Bird

4. Josh Dugan

5. Tom Trbojevic

6. James Maloney

7. Nathan Cleary

8. Aaron Woods

9. Damien Cook (Peats was very good in defence last year but NSW needs a hooker who is equally dangerous in attack and defence. Cook offers that)

10. Andrew Fifita (Not sure if he's available since pleading allegiance to Tonga but if unavailable it makes sense that David Klemmer would move in here)

11. Boyd Cordner (C)

12. Tyson Frizell

13. Jake Trbojevic

14. Reagan Campbell-Gillard (Mclean unlucky to miss out as is Vaughan)

15. David Klemmer (If Fifta is ineligible I'd probably go with Mclean here)

16. Angus Crichton

17. Matt Moylan/Wade Graham

So with this team we've got a solid focus on attack which NSW hasn't had in a little while now (Mansour and Tom T are young and exciting, Tedesco is a good attacker whilst Bird and Dugan at their best are great attackers also)

For the first year since 2014 we've got a strong club halves pairing in Maloney and Cleary. Maloney has more Origin games under his belt and can help grind out a win whilst Cleary has someone to lean on if need be.

Forwards cause much debate. Woods because he has good experience and hasn't really ever let NSW down (Except last year). Fifita had that magical Game 1 last year so I hope he's eligible. Cordner, Frizell and Jake T get the nod simply because they have good size, are decent attackers and can defend.

Bench you've got 2 big boppers in RCG and Klemmer and bringing Crichton in for a stint will help since he is also strong in attack and defence. Between Moylan and Graham for that utility spot, Moylan is magical when he's in form and an in form Moylan taking offloads off Frizell and Crichton could be dangerous. Graham wasn't impressive last year in Origin but had a really strong World Cup and I believe he can play lock, second row and 5/8 without too much trouble whilst also being able to fill in at centre and hooker so he's a good option if someone goes down.

Team I think Fittler will pick:

1. Tedesco 2. Mansour 3. Hayne 4. Dugan 5. Tom T 6. Maloney 7. Pearce 8. Woods 9. Peats 10. Klemmer 11. Cordner (C) 12. Jackson 13. Frizell

14. RCG 15. Mclean 16. Jake T 17. Graham

Team will jag a close one and then get killed.
