Thanks for your respectful reply btw, much more balanced than most on this forum. I agree with what you said, the money would be better spent on the grass roots. On coaches to be precise, as the playing numbers are not a problem (300.000+). A wise chairman would recruit Australasian youth coaches rather than NRL stars. But those owners have got more money than sense...
Good post on your part, though you're underestimating the popularity of union in my country (ratings on a par with NRL). Anyway there is plenty of room for both codes there.
