    NRL 2017 TV RATINGS!

    Wasn't game one last year the highest rating Origin ever? Was always going to be difficult to match those numbers. Glad that the audiences in Perth and Adelaide were treated to a high quality game. The stage is set for a ratings bonanza in game two.

    I'm sure I heard the commentators mention that it took the Cows over an hour to travel the 16km to Belmore from their hotel. Jesus Christ. Rain, hail or shine, there would literally be thousands of people who wouldn't bother attempting that gridlock.

    The surprising thing about that article doggzfan just linked is that all of the final paragraphs are dedicated to the NRL and our pay deal. Very weird considering that the AFL have barely acknowledged rugby league's existence in the past.

    crowd watch 2014 part IV

    Crowd number OK, was hoping for 60K. Atmosphere sounded electric through the TV though. The defence from both teams for the most part was absolutely brutal. Will be interesting to see the Sydney TV ratings.

    Where should the NRL relocate the Raiders?

    Problem is, we've been saying that for twenty years. It could well be another twenty years before we make another grand final, if we're still in the comp. I used to say that it's such a roller coaster ride supporting this club. Now it is just one big downhill track to s***sville.

    Can't say I disagree with you Kiwi - merely pointing out that this is more or less the first News Ltd article to even flirt with the idea that Milford might be staying in Canberra.
