The only games we have won this year have been at home We have the wood on the Raiders at home They have not beaten us there for 15 years or whatever it has been This of course points to a Raiders win by 16.

None of the above changes the fact that your team was illegally assembled and you are still benefiting form that cheating. Oh and lets not forget that when the Storm got under the cap, releasing Greg Inglis to do so, they were then able to afford to replace him with Beau Champion...

Thurston found not guilty

It’s a nothing incident and he shouldn’t have been charged. However this is Thurston and it’s origin week so suspending him for 12 weeks would be fair IMO.

The storm is probably under the cap now but they are still wrongly benefiting from a side which was assembled by cheating the cap. They lost a few players but kept their 3 best players. It is the exact same situation as the bulldogs in 2002-04 who won a comp with a team assembled by cheating the...

Best week 1 finals scenario.

I am pretty sure that the dragons can still play their week 1 game at Wollongong. Same as Canberra/Newcastle can play theirs at their respective home grounds.

NRL and its clubs are expected to palm-off expansion until 2014 or 2015

If expansion in 2013 were to go ahead the announcement would have to be imminent. Its already mid 2011 gives any new side 21 months before their first NRL match. I believe the AFL/A-league gave their expansion sides approx that amount of time (if not more).
