2nd ODI: Australia v Sri Lanka at Adelaide Jan 13, 2013

You're all blind. There was black spot on the bat that appeared in the exact point where the ball passed. It was a thin edge.

    TV rights thread part 4

No they won't. 9 would have more immediate debts than an NRL broadcast deal. In bankruptcy proceedings, the creditors are paid first. By the time it gets to the NRL, they'll get a smidgen of their money, if any at all.

Quade Cooper to join Roosters with $BW?

He's not switching. He's already stated he's staying with the Reds. He just refuses to play for the Wallabies while Deans is there. Good on him.

Quade Cooper to join Roosters with $BW?

 Obviously he's referring to Deans. How is that even slightly a mystery? Quade is 100% correct and every Australian player knows it. No one is coming forward because they don't want to lose their job.

I just can't believe it. How can one team that cheats so much get such disgraceful decisions in their favour?

Good on ya Checcin. Put the sook in his place. I reckon he's the best ref in the game.

Why is it Manly are allowed to grapple, yet when any other team holds down slightly too long it's a penalty?

I'm enjoying this match way too much. Manly playing awfully, finally not getting special treatment from the officials and Matai just injured himself.

I can't wait to see Manly fans blow up. The irony is delicious.

    TV rights thread part 4

Yeah, I did. It was some rubbish report on news.com.au. Meanwhile, in actual industry news: http://www.bandt.com.au/news/marketing/telstra’s-colourful-rebrand-still-needs-huge-amoun

    TV rights thread part 4

I did see that market research and it conflicts with Telstra's internal customer satisfaction ratings. Thodey has discussed in countless public announcements that this continues to improve.

    TV rights thread part 4

Vodafone is even more hated. Consumers generally whinge about their telcos. That's the nature of the market. You'll find that since the rebrand and Thodey's hard work as CEO, Telstra's brand image and customer satisfaction ratings are improving rapidly. I can think of very few brands in this...

    TV rights thread part 4

I didn't bother responding to that post because it was flat out wrong and there's no point arguing. He suggested Youtube makes money because of advertising. The ad revenue doesn't make up for the running costs. He explained the reason behind Google's decision-making but none of the business...

    TV rights thread part 4

I see that everyone knew I was right ,so just dodged it with the typical BS. Telstra is the biggest naming rights sponsor you could have in this country. Unit June this year when Telstra sold it off, an Australasian company has been on board.

    TV rights thread part 4

 Telstra is the largest company in Australia operating in the consumer market and it doesn't match the NRL's demographics? The company with the largest market share in both the Mobile Phone and Internet markets? I guess we should switch to Virgin Mobile NRL Premiership supported by TPG...
