    I'm not a Tuala hater by any means but even his biggest fans would have to admit he's a bottom tier NRL starting winger. He's ok with yardage and doesn't make many mistakes but does that make up for the lack of impact? Maybe in a team with enough firepower to cover for him but the Knights aren't...

    Hetherington was clearly better for the second half of last season and the opening 2 rounds. I like Croker but he's not suited as an impact player off the bench. Maybe if Elliott goes down he can get a real run.

    Since doing his shoulder last preseason he hasn't played 2 consecutive games. Immediately did his shoulder again in his return game and missed the rest of the season, got KO'd first tackle in the trial and then hurt his shoulder again in round 1 of NSW Cup. Only a 4-6 week injury this time but...

    Hours before any journos had picked up on it a bloke on the other Knights forum who's legitimately reliable said Hastings had cracked the shits, called his manager and left. The media reports have been coming from the Knights POV trying to downplay it by the sound of things.

    Had a shocker in the first trial and missed the second + round 1 with an injury. Doesn't look like he'll be in the top 17 at full health anyway though.

    De Courcey is the one from Penrith. Think we’ve actually got the most legitimate NRL prospects we’ve had coming through the juniors in a long time and they’re pretty balanced across positions.

    We have a handful of young centres coming through, including both Australian Schoolboys centres from last year, but Wilson De Courcey is the pick of the bunch and apparently already moving into the top 30 next year. Plays right centre and looks like the obvious option to replace Gagai in a year...
