    Very happy for Matt Prior. I remember him being stuffed around at different times when he was with us when he was asked to play in the centres.     Mbye has said today that he'll see out the remainder of this year with the Dogs before heading to Wests. I agree with comment about Forna......he isn't half the player he was at Manly.

    Foran's been ruled out of this game. Frawley and Marshall-King as a halves combo doesn't concern me much, however their forwards still look pretty strong. I think the only way we'll lose this game is if we beat ourselves. Unfortunately if that happens it won't be the first time!!

    Real danger game for us. Read somewhere that Bulldogs have won 11 of the past 12 games against us, including that agonising game last year that cost us a spot in the semis. Much will depend on how well the SOO players come through. We can't afford to be losing games against sides at the bottom...

    Slater's been ruled out of the first game of SOO. Ponga and Milford added to the team. Who will they play at fullback? What does this do to NSW chances of winning the first game? With Smith, Cronk, Thurston and now Slater out this has to be the best chance NSW have had to win a series in years.

    Thanks getsmarty. I thought Hornby may have got the job once but I wasn't sure. I do remember him getting a start in SOO one year. To me he was always a better fullback than a half, even though he was part of the Dragons premiership winning team in 2010.

    You're probably right DQ, especially deBelin who might have been thinking his chances of finally cracking the SOO side were running out. This has been his best year for us, the selectors have taken notice, and he didn't want to let his best chance slip.

    Pickworth comes across as a decent, capable person who has the player's best interests at heart. Playing Hunt and DeBelin when they were obviously injured compromises the team's performance and the well-being of the player.
