10-0 already

Seriously this could be anything.. to all the people who think Lockyer does nothing on the field you'll see the difference in Brisbane tonight when hes not.

New South Wales showed more commitment than the Broncos are showing tonight, and that is not a compliment for New South Wales.

This result doesn't surprise me.

We've got a hooker playing five eigth, we're missing Clinton up front and playing in Melbourne is always a foreign experience for our boys.

Is Vossy commentating for the Melbourne folk?

The most telling stat of the first half was Brisbane having 4 tackles in the Storm 20m zone, the first of which was at the 36th minute mark. The most telling play was when Brisbane were caught on the 5th in their own half.

Brisbane really need to be the first to score in the 2nd half or it could blow out to be bloodbath, especially seeing as the freakishly talent Greg Inglis has decided to turn up. Wallace needs to step up and lead the side around the park.

Perhaps Brisbane should look to kick the ball over the Melbourne dead ball line at the end of each set to force a 20m restart in an attempt to stop the brilliant Melbourne kick return counter-attack.

The one consolation has been some of the monster hits in the first half.

Ugh.. missed tackles: Brisbane 18 / Melbourne 3

Try to Slater and converted by Tomane. Storm 26-0 after 45 minutes.
Try to Tomane but he missed the goal. Storm 30-0 after 52 minutes.

Dragons would be sitting back watching this match and thinking that worst case scenario they lose on Monday, they'll still be on top with F/A. If they win they'll be alone on top.

Broncos definitely are taking a hammering in their F/A tonight.
