Always good games between these two.

Think Brisbane will be too strong in a close, high quality game.

Brisbane should be looking to get some payback in the forwards after they were dominated by the NZ pack across the ditch. Expect to see some big hits and heavy defence.

Broncos by 12.

Not sure what the rivalry is here, or half the other games. Weird round.

I'd probably put them in our top 4 rivals (along with Melbourne, Manly & Roosters in no particular order).

Brisbane were our first opponents back in '95, and there have been some bruising encounters, particularly in past 10 years (especially since we finally beat them for the first time in 2001).
Think Campion vs Webcke in '02, Monty/Awen fisticuffs in '03, Meli vs Tate's head/neck those years as well, that big win in '10 where half a dozen players left the field injured...

I'll pick Warriors by small margin, Maloney field goal to win it (he's been practising them enough the past month), to make up for the corresponding game last year.

It all comes down to how much the Broncos will make us pay for our token 20 minute nap.

Warriors lose alot of metres and firepower with hurrell and gain a few errors and horrible defensive reads in manu. Broncos by 6, win the penalty count by 4
