Shame we lost Roberts but I still think we should make the finals comfortably. Nabuli will score a heap, Soward will be one of the better halves in this format and Peachey/Cartwright will be almost unstoppable.

Even so mate, with this format so unknown, it's hard to say for sure.

Some of the nuffys may go way better at this level.

Pennies/Souths for me.

Teams have been instructed to take their strongest squad possible.

If any teams don't name players that should have been there and the next week they make a miraculous recovery, there'll be a lot to answer for...of course unless it's that lot from Melbourne...then it's OK....they've already got a rule change re Billy so why not press your luck?

Panthers should shit this in with their backs. The storm will send a heap of unknowns, however it's the storm so in 5 years 4 of them will probably be origin players.

Can't see souths doing much, have shit backs as it is and inglis isn't going

Melbourne squad
Melbourne's squad: Ryan Hoffman (c), Will Chambers, Sisa Waqa, Joel Romelo, Mahe Fonua, Matt Duffie, Young Tonumaipea, Mitch Garbutt, Justin O'Neill, Tohu Harris, Matthew Lodge, Kevin Proctor, Slade Griffin, Kurt Mann, Cameron Munster, Richie Kennar, Jesse Bromwich.

Weak squad, as 1/2 expected. Which 1 of them is among the 5 highest paid players at the club?

Hoffman I suppose?

1. Merrit
2. Champion
3. Johnston
4. Reddy
5. Walker
6. Keary
7. Koroisau
8. Tyrell
9. Simone
10. Lowe
11. McQueen
12. Te'o (c)
13. Sutton

Really only our starting backrow going over, and probably still some competition in the backs

I'll be keen to see if Walker kills it in the halves though. More interested in watching some of the young talent
