Clearly a massive fallout between NZRL administration and the playing squad during the World Cup.

Adam Blair over Matulino or JWH, give me a break.

Isaac John? Surely they're having a laugh.

Edit: What's wrong with Foran?

Y no JWH????? What's doing there, this squad should get towelled up. Australia will be $1.01 unbackable.

No JWH is a head scratcher. Apart from that it's just shit luck with injury and a decision by selectors to focus on the 2017 World Cup.

At least NZ have finally admitted this is a Micky Mouse test that they're going to use to blood players rather than take seriously.

Tamou should thank his lucky stars incumbancy plays a big roll in Oz selection, he has been rubbish for a long time.

Jason Taumalolo should have been picked for NZ.

NZ backline looks alright tbh, especially if Foran was subbed in for John.

Disappointing the forward pack is deliberately below full strength. Not sure they'll be good enough to get the backline any room to cause problems for Australia.

Selectors said Taumalolo wasn't picked due to injury, Mau from parra in the same boat.

Foran, Luke, Matulino, Vatuvei, Leuluai, Mau, Taylor, Brown, Pritchard, Taumalolo all unavailable due to injury.

JWH is a weird non selection, but aside from that, smashed by injury. At least 6-7 of those guys are guaranteed selections and NZ have a lot of youngsters but not quite enough experienced depth to cover that.

Expecting a hammering.

8. Matulino
9. Luke
10. JWH
11. Mau
12. Taumalolo
13. Taylor

Would smash the chosen forward pack for sure. *sigh*
