Actually no ref got it right, Pangai Jr was denied a try for exactly the same sort of thing
No they didn't. The ref would have got it right by either calling a penalty straight away, or going the the VR and getting it called double movement then.

He's not a hard yards player. That's Mansour's job. He drops a ball occasionally, pity about that.
He's not a hard yards player? Rugby league is all about hard yards, doesn't matter if your a front rowers, Josh Mansour or a fullback.

No i thought that first week of the finals were home semi.

The first two weeks of the finals are supposed to reward teams for how they went over the year

1 and 2 are guaranteed two cracks at home if they need it. 3 and 4 get a second chance at home if they need it. 5 and 6 get an elimination game at home and 7 and 8 get no home games at all. The game is at gio stadium because we finished 7 points ahead of the panthers.

Imagine in a hypothetical world canberra (2nd) played north queensland (3rd) and won by a point. The elimination game was penrith (6th) versus melbourne (7th) and melbourne won. Would it be fair for melbourne to host nq
