So the finalists have been announced for the Golden Boot (and I just found out that it is now owned by the RLIF instead of Rugby League World magazine.)

Cameron Smith
Jason Taumololo
Jermaine McGillvary

As a Storm and Kangaroos fan would love to see Smith take it out again to add to his list of achievements for this year, would also be happy for Vunivalu too.

Of course he got it

He's one of the all time greatest players and possibly the best of his generation. This year he still manage to come back at what, 35, and have one of the best seasons of his career. He led his team, state and country to victory. I think it was fair enough.

Having said that LoLo must have been close.
