If the early season Saints turn up it could be a game for the ages, but more likely it will be the mid-late season sleepy Saints that don't turn up and the contest will be over after 20 minutes.

For the good of rugby league and Saints fans I hope it's the early season Saints. I'm still burning after last season when Thiaday cheekily suggested after last time these two met for us to stick by our team because he knew how shit they were. It was almost as insulting as Langer's words after the '93 grand final.

I hate the Broncos with every cell and if we play poorly against them with our season on the line a post that rivals Kiwi's last year could be on the cards.

Phwooooaaaar what an absolute belter!! One of the best wins in the club's history, and one of the great clutch moments from Piggy Riddell!
...unfortunately we are just as big an underdog this week when you compare the form of the two sides. Can't see us getting within 30 of them, at home on a Friday night, with all of the huge advantages they get there.

Ah yes remember it well. The Drongos' 7th straight loss. It didn't matter anyway, by this game they could finish no higher nor lower than 8th (unless Parra could beat Penrith by 28, which they couldn't). The following week the eventual premiers gave them a 16 point start and a hiding to finish them off.
