Give it a month and if Parra keep playing like they have they will start drawing 30k. Might even give the Broncos a shake as the highest attended team
The problem is that if parra do so well this year and have all the hype running into next year they will be served 4 home games on a Thursday. Tv having all the power ruins any chances of developing an attendance culture

Poor Weather has impacted NRL games this round. The only clear night had a dissappointing crowd show up for Parra v Roosters. The Canberra game was not rain effected either. Credit to the Bathurst people showing up in force despite cold and wet conditions tonight.

It seems that is your normal weather pattern in Sydney in Autumn/Winter? Maybe playing games at grounds with little cover is more the issue than the normal weather patterns?

Maybe? Other parts of the competition have copped the poor weather as well. Townsville today, Bathurst tonight. Think Christchurch had rain as well. Hopefully a good run with weather will come the Leagues way soon.

This whole thing about “if only stadiums had better roofs people would go in the rain” is bull.

When it’s pouring rain, people don’t usually feel like leaving home. It goes in the too hard basket. The travel to the game, no matter whether it’s public transport or driving, is infinitely less fun in bad weather. It’s been a real shit weather start to the season unfortunately.

That's true, but not entirely so. If you're at a game with potential for rain, it helps knowing you're not going to get drenched if you do go. The roof just adds to the certainty of what you're going to experience. So if you want to go to the game, the potential for rain won't put you off. But if you're the type who wasn't sure whether they wanted to go or not in the first place, then you're right rain would want to make you stay inside.

For the later years had cover in the stand, with my membership.Rain never worried me.Lightning certainly did.
Prior to that in an open stand, when it was raining ,I valued my comfort and not missing work through the flu, thus stayed at home.Especially with kids.

I got drenched at a SOO at the SFS once ,in a good seat. Then had to walk to the car over muddy paddocks.to the car park.Yep that'll bring the crowds back..

Let's hope their is a big crowd at Campbelltown stadium this afternoon. It deserves a big crowd! Good weather and Tigers are playing well. Canterbury Bankstown need to step up! Should be a cracker!

Like the centralised ANZ stadium.

Like the centralised WSS, ANZ is the worse example of a centralised stadium for club games you could find in Australia. Only in Sydney. Everywhere else has built centralised stadiums in the city close to transport links and to a size suitable for creating an atmosphere for the crowds expected. Sydney is very unique in its approach to centralised stadiums!!

Nice sunny day out here at Campbelltown, though a little cold.
