Media spoon feeding the public that this is Parra's window. To be more concise, it's the last chance saloon for the Eels being that half the players will be off somewhere else after this season.

No doubt, Parra will have a very good year, and all they need to do is pick up from were they left off from last year starting with a very convincing win over the Titans at home by 32-16.

Intriguing match up. 2 lubs who perpetually fail to meet expectations.

Parra convincingly.

Parra are an even more formidable force now that Paul McGregor has joined their coaching ranks. Just a warning for viewers that if the TV camera focusses on the Parra coaching box, either make sure you wear sunglasses before the game or immediately cover your eyes. Because the shine that will reflect off the gilded domes of the Parra brains trust can potentially blind you.

I expect Parra to win well here though (seriously). The Titans making the finals last year was a fluke and they'll go back to being their usual mediocre self again this season. The Broncos will take their top 8 spot.

Parra by 24.

Both teams look stronger than last season already.

With Mcgregor on board, Eels to squeak in by a merkin.

This will be closer than most think, but Parra are generally more settled than the Tiddies, and Gutho will want to get off to a strong start.

The Titans pack and 2-5 look very good. I just don’t trust that spine though. We all know the Eels start the year well and they should do the job here.
