Where will the Tigers finish: 10th
Player of the year: Api Korisau
Top Try Scorer: Ken Maulmalo
Best signing: Api, but Klem and Ice will be great too
Rookie of the year: Justin Matamua
Breakout Player: I think we'll have a few. Fonua Pole and Shawn Blore to have big years. Have a feeling Brent Naden will too
Who debuts: I think we'll have a couple. Josh Feledy, Rua Ngatikaura, Sione Fainu and Jahreme Bula
Dissapointment of the year: Im gunna say Nofa has or will play his last game for the club
Will Brooks be at the club in 2024: Yes
What needs to happen for it to be a succesful year: For me its about a noticeable improvement in players. I can count on one hand the amount of guys who have improved their game under Madge. If we can have the younger/mid range guys improving I'll be happy no matter where we finish

General NRL
Premiers: Storm
Wooden Spooners: Dragons
Do Dogs play finals: No
Dally M: Harry Grant

Player of the year: Api Koroisau
Top Try Scorer: Ken Maumalo
Best signing: Api Koroisau
Rookie of the year: Is Pole still a rookie?
Breakout Player: Stefano Uto
Who debuts: Sione Fainu who we signed from Manly has some good raps on him.
Disappointment of the year: Isaiah Papalii
Will Brooks be at the club in 2024: Unfortunately, yes
What needs to happen for it to be a successful year: Better attacking cohesion with the spine. Api will help here, but the other three don't link up together nearly often enough.

General NRL
Premiers: Cowboys
Wooden Spooners: Warriors
Do Dogs play finals: Yes

Player of the year: Luke Brooks
Top Try Scorer: David Nofoaluma
Best signing: Api Koroisau
Rookie of the year: Fonua Pole
Breakout Player: Charlie Staines
Who debuts: Tristan Reilly
Dissapointment of the year: John Bateman
Will Brooks be at the club in 2024: Yes
What needs to happen for it to be a successful year: Backline needs to select itself by the end of the year. Players need to put their hand up, demand selection in their position and prove they deserve to own their jersey in 2024. Halves and fullback need to signed/re-signed on the back of that.

Wooden Spooners: Gold Coast
Do Dogs play finals: no.

click on the above to see failure!

It’s our best side for many years, if the forwards combine properly, we have a lot to look forward to despite weaknesses elsewhere.

Player selection and rotation are now much more interesting than before. Another good forum fight for us returns.

Injuries are wreaking havoc with the game, so we need to be judicious and conservative.

I hope Benji and Robbie stay out of or take a minimal role in the player culture and bonding.

I hope each player does his best. Don’t care if we lose if we have a genuine swing.

Where will the Tigers finish: 9th or 10th
Player of the year: Apisai Koroisau
Top Try Scorer: Ken Maumalo
Best signing: Api and Papali'i
Rookie of the year: Justin Matamua
Breakout Player: Daine Laurie - think he'll go up a few gears this year with a decent pack and attacking-orientated play
Who debuts: Triston Reilly, Rua and Josh Feledy
Disappointment of the year: John Bateman. Pumped with his signing but have a bad feeling he'll be a shadow of his 2019 self plagued by injuries
Will Brooks be at the club in 2024: unfortunately
What needs to happen for it to be a successful year: consistency. Playing a brand of footy which tigers were once known for and some pride shown in the jersey

General NRL
Premiers: Roosters
Wooden Spooners: Dragons
Do Dogs play finals: Negative
Dally M: Nathan Cleary or Latrell Mitchell

When people are new to management ( ie Benji and Robbie) they often make the mistake of trying to extend their influence too far and unnecessarily.

I’ve seen it many many times with predictable results.

From what I’ve seen, we should send both assistants to classes about this.

Is Benji going to be a coach or a mate? Which is going to be the best option for him to get his steeds galloping?

I think it’s an interesting question.

He can’t threaten to report the non complying player to Tim like he can now.

Players resent not being selected. It is the bane of their existence. He’s going to have backtrack on a lot of promises etc. Not easy.

Especially with our over-sensitive lot!

Rookie of the year: haven't seen enough to really know but will go Tupou since he hasn't got a mention yet
Breakout Player: Stefano
Who debuts: probably half a dozen
Dissapointment of the year: Brooks
Will Brooks be at the club in 2024: Yes
What needs to happen for it to be a successful year: Stability in the spine. But I see Sheens making wholesale changes to cover one injury. Ie Brooks is missing so AD to half, Laurie to 5/8 and Staines to fullback

General NRL
Premiers: Roosters if injury free
Wooden Spooners: Knights

What needs to happen for it to be a succesful year: We need our backs to fire. The pack is strengthened and will hold their own. Brooks needs to take advantage and engage our point scorers out wide.

You must be hearing the same rumours as me about stef. Brooks to take advantage? That’s a big ask. Better off with Wakeham, less baggage.

What needs to happen for it to be a succesful year: Have a genuine captain whose not all talk or ego or a yes man. A captain who can encourage but also have players squirming when they Fk up. And another leader to back up and keep the guys on their toes and their minds on the job.

Disappointment of the year: Our forwards will kill it but Brooks would be the dominant half we pray for.
Will Brooks be at the club in 2024: I hope not but I don't see other options.
What needs to happen for it to be a successful year: Defence needs to exist we need to learn to build pressure and be mentally tougher. Halves need to learn to get repeat sets.

General NRL
Premiers: Penrith
Wooden Spooners: Titans
Do Dogs play finals: They will come close, like us the halves are ordinary.
Dally M: Grant

I think we will be competitive but a lack of class in the halves and the Inability to finish off half chances will be our biggest weakness. I think A.D will be dropped with Wakeham coming in too late in the year but sparking us and giving us the usual if only / maybe next year vibes we are so used to
