WTF are the Dragons forfeiting a home game to the Rorters?

Hosting rights have alternated for the ANZAC game since it was instituted in 2002:

Dragons home games in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2022, 2024.

Roosters home games in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023.

Accor is a terrible stadium for league. Why would we play there?

To take the Roosters down memory lane of when they both last played at that ground...

IIRC it coincides with the ANZAC Day march. Much easier to get to Moore Park from Hyde Park at the end of the March instead of going to Accor.
If you've never experienced an ANZAC Day game live you should try it even if you don't go for either club. The silence between the last post and the rouse in a stadium with over 40k is something that I will never forget. We're very lucky we get a footy game on such a day and don't want to change what has become a great tradition.

They also play it at Allianz Stadium, and before it the old SFS, as it enabled people who went to Anzac Day services in the city to attend the match without having to cut anything short. It was a conscious choice by both clubs and the NRL. It was also supported by the RSL as the venue for that match.

Nope. The Roosters Anzac jersey is the same design the club wore during the latter years in WW2, and specifically in 1945 when they won the comp that year. Striped jerseys were prohibited due to war time rationing. That design was adopted due to lack of available materials for the original jersey design, and the cost involved.

As such, bar the sponsor logos, it is exactly the same as that used in 1944, 1945 and 1946. They reverted to the original "tricolour" look in 1947.
