Following criticism, I watched Beale closely several weeks ago. He often takes the pressure off the younger blokes around him. Doesn't shine, but puts in that little extra, when things get tough, to lighten their load.

2 Bird - makes things happen when the team needs them
1 Ennis - held it together when we were struggling

Beale had classy touches that were critical. The final pass to Holmes for the first try and the move to put Lewis away were very important.

Just maybe with Beale as players like Holmes & Bird have improved out of sight, will mean now when Beale gets the ball he may take the line on.

Teams will be expecting Bird or Holmes for the big play

great to see some footy being played. Heart attack stuff but better than the one out shit.

Got a glimpse of what the sharks could be this afternoon... Awesome that we made some mistakes and we still won.

We did this by playing some typical sharks disciplined up the middle and strong defence but also opened up in attack much more than usual...

Still a massive spotlight on our weakness - slowness of the halves and our kicking game both long and short. Birds kick was a beauty but aside from that and a few punts from Ennis its our obvious soft spot.

f**kin awesome to see Barba light it up for us. Scratching my head at super coach taking off Feki tho..
