I keep looking at the score expecting Maxwell to be gone.
Credit to him for hanging in so far. Expectations were low, so not hard to exceed them, but still I'll take it with Smith looking at staying for the long haul. He could become our third leading run scorer for the innings which in itself is a worry.

5000 test runs for Smith. 7th fastest in history to get there based on total innings played. First of the "big four" to get 5000 runs and he has played the least innings.

As correct as I reckon I am about Warner being a flat track hero and nothing else, I stand corrected on Smith (his technique still looks strange), fmd he's a brilliant test bat

Maxwell will score a triple. Either a triple Quiney or a triple ton. And then go on to be a modern day Keith Miller, but who bowls like Colin Miller.
