NZ always says they demand respect, but they never show the opposition any as they run up a score. If that was the USA vs Oz in lacrosse, the Yanks would play lesser players, maintain possession and keep the score respectful for an outclassed opponent

Not sure why this is being brought up now but okay...

But that’s not how we show respect in our culture...

it’s more disrespectful to their opponents if they take it easy on them.

‘Running up the score’ is actually called playing hard until the final whistle...

the idea that you take the foot off the pedal is both condescending and just outright disrespectful to your opponent,

the only ones who think the opposite are stupid Americans...
