Aussie and Kiwi stars heading for Super League: NRL in crisis?

Bryson Goodwin has signed with Leigh for 2018, (where Glenn Stewart now plays) even though Leigh may not be in Super League in 2018.

Peta Hiku is in negotiations with Warrington Wolves, coached by Brian Smith's brother Tony Smith, which has Ashton Sims and Kurt Gidley on the books.

Josh McCrone is in negotiations with the new Canadian sensation Toronto Wolfpack (which has 35 year old Fui Fui Moi Moi on the books) even though Toronto Wolfpack, now in the 3rd division, cannot be promoted to Super League before 2019 at the earliest.

Shaun Kenny-Dowell is being courted by Super League clubs.

Meanwhile former Dally M player of the year Ben Barba has signed for St Helens and is preparing to carve up Super League..

Jake Mamo (ex-Newcastle) is already carving up Super League at Huddersfield, where Ryan Hinchcliffe (ex-Melbourne) is already on the books.

David Fifita is carving up Super League at Wakefield.

Robert Lui and former Dally M Player of the year Todd "the bubbler" Carney are carving up Super League at Salford.

NRL is slowly being denuded of its stars. What can we do to stop it?

throwing around the term star very loosely. David Fifita? Maybe not

Also is he legally allowed in Australia?

Robert Lui carving up a comp says more about the comp than said player........

Robert Lui was always good when he played for the NQ Cowboys. It was only the arrival of young sensation Michael Morgan in Townsville that caused Lui to flee to England.

Firstly the use of the word "stars" in thread title is a bit unrealistic, let's scale it back a bit and say, voids. As in the voids can easily be filled

Second. your threads are shit

Third. denuded? Sounds risqué

Fourth, what can be done? The immediate halt to shit threads about shit topics would go a long way.

1. Ben Barba
2. Jake mamo
3. Peta Hiku
4. Skd
5. Goodwin
6. Carney
7. Mcrone
8. Fifita
9. Gidley
10. Moi Moi
11. Stewart
12. Sims
13. Hynchcliffe

That starting side might trouble Newcastle if they were having an off day

Such a shame. We should make an all star team out of them and watch them belt the Australian team.

You haven't quite picked the strongest possible side of former NRL stars. Here it is:

1. Ben Barba
2. Jake Mamo
3. Peta Hiku
4. Shaun Kenny-Dowell
5. Bryson Goodwin
6. Robert Lui
7. Todd Carney
8. David Fifita
9. Kurt Gidley
10. Ashton Sims
11. Glenn Stewart
12. Greg Bird
13. Ryan Hinchcliffe

This team would thump both Newcastle and Wests Tigers and decisively beat South Sydney.

The 412 errors that are made between Mamo and SKD would probably give the NRL sides an upper hand.

SKD is likely for Newcastle.
