Bird replaces Pattinson, don't mind that Bird is good bowler. Not sure Cartwright or Agar in the squad. Of course the great tough nugget Wade is there.

Any chance of Bangers winning a test or the series? The SL series where we got thumped 3-0 would suggest yes, but we have a better batting squad then back then (Warner aside). Could be a very close contest

Cartwright and Smith got 80s and Jake Weatherald got 96 which should give him a bit of confidence you'd reckon... 22 and slapping 96 off 50 in a game with the Aussie test squad is solid.

We need to abort the allrounder fiasco. Get Smith, Maxy to roll the arm over for a few if need be, and also Head if he makes the XI. Pick our best 6 bats and best 4 bowlers, if that aint good enough then nothing else will be.

Im taking about after this series, smith,head and maxy is enough as a combo as the 5th bowling option rather than an injury prone mitch marsh who cant score runs at no6.
