BDO Lineup 2008

Rage Against the Machine, Bjork, Grinspoon, Arcade Fire, Hilltop Hoods, Billy Bragg, Paul Kelly, LCD Soundsystem, Sarah Blasko, Faker, Midnight Juggernauts, Dizzee Rascal, Something With Numbers, Battles, Cut Off Your Hands..

apart from RATM, there is nothing to get excited about

I cant see Bjork getting the moshers jumping around too much

I'll be there but I hope there are some better acts to come

Queens of the Stone Age and Kings of Leon are strong rumours but I've seen them both fore and they are pretty meh

enter the whinging about the BDO lineup. Personally i'm wrapped.

RATM is a huge one. Bjork people either love or hate her. I'll check her out.
Arcade Fire are brilliant.

I saw Bjork at her last BDO performance.

She described herself as the one pink dot amongst all the green dots.

She was right.

RATM will mean that despite the rest of the terrible, TERRIBLE line up (Paul Kelly FFS!) this event will sell out within an hour or so of going on sale.

I'll be there like I always am, but it seems that the good ol' "Good BDO this year = sh*t BDO next year" rule still holds true.

Of course some nice 2nd announcements could put that to bed yet

QOTSA? KOL? Why not just trot out Foo Fighters and make a it another predictable boring BDO...

They are completely different. Paul tells amazing stories of Australian life in song, not some bangin' rock band.

Tim Rogers solo would round it off well.

RATM would be awesome to see but the rest is pretty meh-ish, altho hilltop would be ok and some old grinspoon songs are good.
I was keen for Smashing Pumpkins, as was the rumour
