That song has actually become cool because of her version.

When you listen to it without the chisel thing going on it is a damn great song.
I think you need to hear it done different to appreciate it again.

There is a scene in "Little Fish" ( Aussie movie with Cate Blanchet and Hugo Weaving ) where a school choir sing it.
It is bloody excellent.

I'll give it to Don Walker , he sure can write a song.
