To put that in perspective,
the 14 other teams equate to 84% or an average of 6% each.

Does the Leagues club sell Merchandise independantly? From what I understand, Most of Manly's merchandise goes through the Leagues club and other sources that don't get put into the communal merchandising cash pot, but go straight to the club.

Correct me if I am wrong.

I'm not sure of the Formula, but I am certain that merchandise can be sold independantly of the NRL and the club can take all of the profit. The money that the NRL divvies up is from where the NRL has set up a collective agreement to sell merchandise, i.e-Rebel Sport Outlets and Peter Wynns.

If that were the case the Bulldogs would make a fortune from the Bankstown and Canterbury Leagues club stores!!! Most of the sales of merchandise would by from those stores... I know I buy all my merchandising needs from the Bankstown Store (OOOH the girls that work there are hot there )
