I'm hearing Tau Tau Moga signed with the North Queensland Cowboys yesterday (effective immediately) but it hasn't been officially announced yet.

Would had loved to have kept him but we can't keep 'em all.

He obviously saw the writing on the wall..

He'd slipped behind McDonald in the pecking order, so you can't blame him..

Poor kid has dud knees..

a bit strange with MJ out for 6 weeks to release him as it was to release Morts when we sign another hooker and use a second hooker on friday night??

Mortimer wanted to play in the halves and was expecting game time there during the Origin period. Trent Robinson was the person who convinced Morts to stay when he had an offer to go to the Titans for 2013. As to L'estrange, he was signed as a specialist hooker which he definetly is.

As to Moga, seen him in a few games since he came back from injury. Looked ordinary at best. Person at work I know who follows Newtown said he was not flash when playing for them. As such I don't think he will be that big a loss.

Famous last words.

Sometimes it takes a player a good 18 months to recover from leg injuries. I can picture him in 2015 carrying three players across the line to score and people on social media saying "Why oh why did we let him go!"
