The problem with people like you is short term thinking. You can't follow a chain of consequence.

I dont think they should be capped but only in Australia do we see a situation where administrators and coaches earn more then the best players.

And that's why we should have a soft cap on football department spending with a tax involved. That way the rich can spend as much as they want while the poor don't get left behind too far.

And having 10 useless clubs would do nothing for the long term health of the remaining superclubs. There's noway long term the tv rights deals would be strong if most games were unbalanced duds.

Ever heard of the English Premier League?

You cannot run a sporting comp to accommodate the poorer run clubs, it's like slowing down a race so the last person has a chance to win.

Some clubs will die, it is inevitable given how poorly they are run. If you run the comp to try and save them you are doing a disservice to those clubs that are run well.

Success should not equal penalty, that is backwards thinking.

FFS. Soccer is a sport that has a following in every corner of the world.

Rugby League is the main sport in half of one first world country.

Comparing the EPL and the NRL is ridiculous.
