A sad day for the Manly club, no doubt, but hopefully some good can come of this over the next few years. Hopefully Buhrer et al can step up to fill the breach.

Big signing for Souths too, Gift is just what they need to help win those massive end of season games.

Agreed. Im sure the Manly club will always remember Glenn as a staple of their 2000's era of greatness. Great clubman and player, hopefully he can produce for us over the next two years.

Corey Parker and Justin Hodges to remain at the Broncos for a further 2 years

The Brisbane Broncos have received a major boost ahead of Friday’s Anzac Day blockbuster against the Rabbitohs with co-captains Corey Parker and Justin Hodges agreeing to two-year contract extensions.
The two have inked new deals that will keep them at the Broncos until at the end of the 2016 season.
The two 31-year-old captains have had glittering careers at the Broncos, including going on to represent their State and country.
Broncos chief executive Paul White said the news was a great boost for the club as a whole.
“These deals offer a commitment to these two who have shown they want to play out their careers in Broncos jerseys,” said White.
“This offers some certainty for the players, but also for our members and supporters who now know our captains will finish their days as rugby league players here in our colours.

“These two are great examples of how players can develop not only on the field but as people in general when they become part of the Broncos’ club.”

Justin Hodges.... lol

He is held together with bubble gum and sticky tape. He will be lucky to play 10 games over the course of two years. If ever a bloke should be shipped off to Super League, it is him.

Parker is playing as good as ever, but lol @ Hodges for two more years.

He's old, busted and a merkin to boot.

Good to see Parker be a one club player. All too rare these days. Will crack the 300 game mark too unless he has a really bad run with injuries

I'm really happy about this, both players.

I hope Hodges hangs up the rep boots, I think with no rep footy we'll see a lot more out of him at the broncos.

You realise your club employs Lote Tuqiri to play rugby league. Paying actual money.
