Dally M Judge for Roosters v Broncos?????

This is not about how bad we played, how dodgy some of the refs calls were or how none of our blokes got (nor deserved) any Dally M points. It's about who Channel 9 selected as their Dally M judge for this match.... the bloody recently retired captain of the opposition team...... Darren Lockyer!

I wonder if after next year any club would like Anthony Minichiello as the Dally M judge in a game against the Chooks? Methinks not!

The whole judging process is stupid. Freddy has done our games many times. Laurie Daley does a lot of Canberra games, Andrew Johns does Newcastle games etc... The Dally M voting process is pretty shit since it seems players with reputations like Benji, Farah, Thurston etc... only have to fart to get 3 points.

The whole Dally M system is a bit of a joke. But meh, it has no real bearing on anything. Locky and all those lads are smart enough to know who to pick, it's not like they'd go out of their way to be bias.

lol I remember one week every single judge was connected to the team they were judging. The scoring system is amateur.

That said though, they usually do get the best player from each year. The real joke comes in when they are picking the "Psoition of the Year" awards. It's just the media princess award; look no further than the Bulldog Awards in '09.
