Poor parenting/lack of respect for anyone, weak justice system, society failing to take self responsibility, schools being stripped of right to punish, failure of communities leaders (pollies), a western culture that has driven a me first, me last attitude. Take your pick.

Would ANYONE have a problem if the NRL came out and made a rule that any player convicted of assault of a woman is banned for life? How about drawing some lines in the sand NRL about what you stand for.

If Russell Packer was allowed back into the game after making ham burger meat out of someones face then I don't see how the NRL can justify banning Walker for life without the clubs blowing up about it.

You only have to justify something if people disagree with it. Other than probably the Rlpa I doubt anyone would blink an eye if nrl took a stance that assaults on women = life ban, in fact the vast majority of the games stakeholders would applaud and say long overdue I’d suggest.

I would love to see the day in the Nrl where if you're convicted of sexually based offences, serious assaults, drug dealing etc then you're given the flick but i'm sure the clubs and players would challenge it.
We caved to pressure re the penalty count issue so I don't have my hopes up.
Here's hoping the young lady and the kid are safe.

Walker is still going to court isn’t he? There are three witnesses. If they all testify they saw him assault his missus surely that’s a life ban for this muppet. He must be shifting himself now.
