Firstly, I think the best spot for Hayne right now is the wing.

Corey Norman, while out of form, is still a far better kicker than any of the other options and that's crucial these days.

I haven't written off French, but he is clearly struggling in a side that lacks confidence. It's very hard for a guy like him to spark anything when we're playing the way we are.

Two hookers because we haven't got an 80 minute option and Will Smith is very inconsistent. King starting because his service is generally better and he has a kicking game, Kaysa to come on and hopefully bring that spark he started to show the last few games.

Gower has been great in the middle, but he can play on the edge and he needs to be there somewhere. No reason he doesn't play as well on the edge, and if unsuccessful you could put him at 10 or 13 and move Ma'u back to the edge. I think the pack I've got here has the best potential go forward and defence of the available players at the club.

Someone said Tepai was done on the edge, I disagree. I think his best game of the year was the first game he spent solely on the edge.

Otherwise I think that pack gives us hard running and keeps the defence solid. Ma'u/Brown can interchange roles and runs during the game, I just wanted to get them both in the middle as I think that will increase our attacking metres.

We've gotta try something...

EDIT-Terepo probably unlucky, I can see a poster or two who might have a dig over that selection, but I felt we needed a backrower on the bench and I think Evans offers a point of difference, where Terepo is much the same as Alvaro and Mannah.
