A fair few here who are only one hit wonders in the narrow sense that they only had one actual chart hit, but they actually had fairly long and successful careers releasing well received albums. Chumbawumba and King Missile both fit that category.
True one hit wonders are the one who blow up out of nowhere and barely release any thing else and playing three song sets in shopping malls and half time entertainment sets.

I still remember staying over one of my mates places when I was younger, watching rage and his mum walks past and she’s like WTF, is this what music has become, no defending my generation for that monstrosity

Not really one hit wonders- also had "I Wanna Rock" and released multiple albums well regarded albums that sold respectably. Legends on the live scene too.
