Most fans wouldnt notice, But the younger generation wouldnt know of the Blue Bags or the Berries,Russell's idea is the new song is about us and not other teams.I would merge the two and have the first verse of the old song and the rest of the new addition

Our new majority owners have got all the basics right, but tampering with the song, well they can have a go , but at the end of the day, I'm sure us fans will singing the old version on grand final day.

Its a stirring, historic anthemn. Shivers to the back of the neck each time I hear it.

Especially how it starts off.

Souths go into the parra match favourites for the first time in about 20 years. The boys are absolutely pumped for this one.

If they can keep that beautiful and oh so sweet red and green line in defence, we will have another sharp and tidy game.

We are fast becoming Sydneys favourite club.
