Chronos sat, watching as the events unfolded.
"Stupid fools," he muttered. "They think they know how to rule the world..."
He shook his head. The Olympians were again determining to meddle in the affairs of the humans. He watched as Zeus walked among the Heroes, determined to assert his rightful place.
He watched, and he waited. For time was his to enjoy.
The Olympians, he mused, were intent on the destruction of all who would not bend their knee. Unfortunately for them, all in the cup of earth were intending to usurp. And all, it appeared, were going to great lengths to show that.
Heracles shied away from Zeus, aware that his only cause of death would be from the blow of the Greek god. But Achilles stood up, and fought.
"No more will we be ruled by you unfairly!" he exlaimed, rising his sword. "We will break free from your iron grip! We will live freely!"
To the side, in the shadows, Medusa stood watching. Her writhing locks hissed angrily, but she cackled softly.
"Now is our time," she whispered to her companion. "Now is our time to take advantage of the chaos and wait to assert our authority." She slunk away with a far bulkier guardian.
The Nymph floated. She knew it was time to get it on. If she could mysteriously tag all those alive, she would surely succeed in her quest.
Chronos looked on and sighed. The old titan was aware of the discord in the universe, but wasn't prepared to step in. No, that simply would stir more trouble...
IT IS NOW NIGHT. ALL ACTIONS MUST BE IN BY 11AM TOMORROW MORNING.
