What is it with Decent coaches being sacked simply because of 1-2 sub par seasons?

-Manly oust Toovey after 3 straight finals apparences (and a grand final) simply for coming ninth,
-Bunnies sack Mcguire after lifting them to their first title in a bazillion years
-Hasler booted after missing the finals for the first time.

Meanwhile my f**king club is coached by Kearney.

Some Panthers fans hoping for us to snare Dessie in 3-2-1...
The brown suits him

Reality is recruitment decisions the last couple of years have been very poor and there has been no improvement to our attacking structures. Change had to be made and this is the best option. Couldn't care less about the payout as money isn't a problem and with the incoming off-field salary cap it was the right time to do it

That doesn't always work out, Brown/McGregor

Difference is that both Pay and Dymock have been assistant coaches for a long time, unlike Brown who was pitched straight into first grade only a year or two after retirement.

Also both Pay and Dymock have been at other clubs. Pay has been an assistant the Roosters (he was the U/20s and Defensive Coach in 2002), Catlan Dragons, Parramatta, Melbourne and Canterbury to name some of the places he's been; whilst Dymock has been at the Roosters, Cronulla and Canterbury as an assistant. McGregor has spent his whole coaching career at the Dragons or with the Illawarra Cutters.

It's like Bullfrog never left

The most disloyal, despicable, repulsive club in the league

Hasler will walk into virtually his choice of clubs
