i hate chooks

skando and hogo ,great for them to get into the rep side-but makes our chances against the chooks that much harder-to back up or even come off the bench 20 hours after even a city country clash is a big ask.the chooks have got that brick wall defence going again and have a few good heads in attack-maybe we have to pick a one off team just to aim up against the chooks

when mcguiness skando and senter all played sicty country 2 years ago they all backed up didn't they?
it's a big ask but i think they should be good for it
hopefully they can both keep up the good form and step up a gear in ththe rep game and feed off that confidence and good form for the rest of the season..

I can't see how Stevens got in over Skandalis. I agree both should back up but I'm not expecting Skando to be his usuall self racking 30 tackles and 20 hit-ups a game.

The good news is at least we'll have Payton back

I agree that the city-country reps will almost certainly back up but an extra prop on the bench will be invaluable because skando is still going to be tired - Bronson should drop off to make room (Galea was too good on friday to drop)

a bench of Galea, Laffranchi, Payton/Gibbs (the other one to start) and Lima gives us plenty of grunt in the forwards, injuries in the backs can be covered 'cause fitzy can play almost anywhere and Galea can cover 5/8th if need be)

you won't see much difference with skando.maybe a couple of seasons ago,but not in 2004.his game and fitness is at another level now.

he'll get 30-40 min on friday night and probably closer to 30min than 40.

all it will mean is that he'll play 10-15 min less at most for the tigers.if boof,payten and gibbs can't cover that,then we have serious problems.

i've got no cencern about him backing up,especially against the roosters.

the only concern i have is injury.

I like the forward-heavy bench anyway to be honest

both Lima and Laffranchi can be used in either prop or second row as well so it lets us keep our forwards fresh all game

It'll be interesting to see what they do with Dazza - he should either return through PL or else take mears spot 'cause I really don't wanna see two specialist hookers in the side for this week.

i like tiger nicks team-but i did see payten play against the bronco,and he looked really under done than,now with another month off he will probally struggle big time.although he is playing his old team,which usually will bring a player up another level.with hogo probably getting a full game on friday night,we will probably need some back up on the bench--maybe covel for wilson
