Begs the question, with a fully fit backrow (if it ever happens), where does Newton sit in the scheme of things?

11 Simpson
12 Reynoldson
13 Abraham

11 Simpson
12 Newton
13 Abraham

14 Reynoldson?

Hate to lose this guy to some other thieving club.

I'd have next year:

8. Davico(or whatever other prop we sign)
9. Buderus
10. Newton
11. Simpson
12. Reynoldson
13. Abraham

Newton at prop? Hmm.

He's played there before, and his hitups are in the same fashion as a front-rower.

He is averaging close to the most metres per hit-up in the competition, purely due to his leg-drive. Other players up there in that aspect of the game are Steve Price, Carl Webb and Roy Asotasi-All front rowers.

He is not exactly a tackling machine(although he does his fair share), and concentrates more on gaining metres. I think he'd be a great prop.

The mut would like to smoke what you wankers are who think this is the best line up!

1. Thaiday (Been noticing his inside support play recently, will improve under high ball)
2. Carmont (Great finisher should play on the left with K Gidley and Newton and Abes)
3. K Gidley (This is his spot, will turn out to be one of the best defensive centres)
4. M Gidley (Poor in defence will offer plenty with Cooper outside him)
5. Cooper (Great kick returns and safe under high ball)
6. Mullen (Starting to find his feet, will improve outside Johns)
7. Johns (Nothing to say tht already has not been)
8. Woolnough (Good go foward can be complemented by Davico off the bench)
9. Buderus (Dido Johns)
10. Reynaldson (Mobile defender around the ruck, honest toiler worth the 240k)
11. Simpson (Could act as a third prop or play on the right fringe)
12. Newton (Plays on the left fringe)
13. Abraham (Also plays on the left fringe)

14. Davico (Great impact off the bench)
15. Tolar (Is learning will be solid)
16. Brown (Utility value)
17. Snowden (Can play in 2nd row and prop with a big off season in gym)

Muts thinks thats a solid top 8 side.

I'd personally like to see:
8. Prop Signing
9. Danny Buderus
10. Woolnough/Perry (If Perry comes back from suspension and plays with toughness then he is the man for the job)
11. Steve Simpson
12. Clint Newton (Works well on the left flank better than down the middle)
13. Daniel Abraham (Has heaps of wraps but can he bounce back from his two season ending leg injuries?)

14. Woolnough/Perry
15. Reynoldson (Can't fit him in the team with Newton playing so well but should be at lock until Abes finds his feet)
16. Snowden
17. Riley Brown
