'I can't wait to pull on that red jersey' - Jennings: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/2018/06/22/i-cant-wait-to-pull-on-that-red-jersey-jennings/

Really can't wait for all the other rep games today and tomorrow, especially Tonga vs Samoa! Sadly, I think my Kiwis will be going down on Sunday morning but hopefully it'll be a great game.

How does the time difference work out for you tomorrow morning? We'll get the game at about 6am so I'm going to guess it's at 8 for you?

Don’t forget Malta v South Africa out at St Mary’s tomorrow. I hate that theres no South game, but it’s great to have a weekend celebrating the international game at all levels. Just finished watching a YouTube replay of last weeks Czech Republic v Norway WC qualifier. It was played in a town with pop 13000, nearly 1300 turned out, 10% of the pop. not bad at all.

Yea man, 8am for me. I'll be up ready to go!

Enjoyed both games tonight and the passion on show, especially in that Tonga vs Samoa game.

I feel that Samoa could've got very close to beating Tonga if their completions had been better. Still, not a bad game. Seeing both our Souths boys cross on their international debuts was amazing!

Roll on tomorrow now....

Yep both our boys were very good.

Jennings can sometimes get caught out defensively would be the only minor negative out of that.

Some good signs from a patchwork NZ side this morning.
England the better side in the end as we probably expected but NZ definitely asked a lot of questions and with a bit more ball control and team cohesion, there is a good side there.

Issac Luke didn’t shower himself in glory the little grub, should have been sat down for stamping.

England had a good 40 mins, but the team just didn’t seem to click together at all early on.

Yeah. I think the high altitude affected the big Englishmen early on. Both teams hit the wall pretty early. I think Sammy did pretty well to do 80 in those hot and high conditions. He’ll be sore boy this week.

We need him against the Cows though to handle the wrecking ball Taumalolo.

He may just play 55mins for us next Sunday.

That first half of the game this morning was brilliant but I was pretty disappointed with the Kiwis in the second.

Did anyone see the national anthems before the game?? Ours was an absoulute disgrace!!

You’re right Callmack. Both anthems where a disgrace, they should of had a Pom and a Kiwi sing their anthems. The English anthem didn’t have a backing track and I don’t reckon she even sung a third of it. The poor Kiwis, their players where kind of looking at each other going “what the hell is she singing”, I would have loved a translation of the attempt. Also what about the 5min wait for a kicking tee for the kick off, great TV:joy:

I know you all have been hanging for the result:smiley:

South Africa 30 beat Malta 24 is a close struggle out at St Marys, in front of apparently a bumper crowd, to wrap up Rep weekend.

What was the bumper crowd size,RL appears to be growing despite the vicious opposition by the good old rugger chappies!

They were both awful. I can sympathise with the kiwi one a little bit although even the English part was dreadful. No idea why we had no instrumental to help her along a bit.
