I played in the GF of Matthews in the early 90's.. Cronullafied

Wow the final 4 in both competitions is a fantastic result no matter what happens from here on.

Having seen both teams, I am flat out working out the half of the NYC team that makes Gymea A Grade.

Great stuff. Can't remember the last time we've had both Matthews and SG Ball teams make the top 4. Is this a sign of greater investment in our junior ranks now that we've got a little more resources?

In the Matthews Cup the Sharks will face the Bulldogs for a place in the Grand Final, while the SG Ball Sharks will play the Penrith Panthers.

Kick off in Saturday’s matches is scheduled for 1.30pm (Matthews Cup) and 3.00pm (SG Ball), at St Mary’s Stadium.

Got out to an early 10 nil lead that became 10-6 but we have stretched it back to 14 point lead with 10 before halftime.
