Is it just me or are all french rugby venues (either code) a bit lacking on the typical british atmosphere ? I know they are "french, why chould they be british..." but...
Of all the venues I've seen pictures of, or vidio of, most have an athletics track around them, removing the grandstands a great distance from the touch line. All of this seems like it would have to greatly remove the game from the spectators, and the spectators from the game, creating quite a poor atmosphere for both spectators and athletes.
Any thoughts?
