Lincoln Withers, John Wilson and John Olzard are all rumoured to be close to signing with the Dragons from the Tigers.

Red Dragon,

Is that Joel Wilson or John Wilson?? I've never heard of the latter.

I can't see us signing any more players for 2004. I reckon we've spent our $3.25 million.

Cheers,
Ben S.

John Wilson, currently playing centre for Tigers first grade and has equalled the Clubs try-scoring record for one season, 15.

If Wilson goes to you, there will be a lot of upset tigers fans. The guy really has come on as a great centre since he has been getting regular game time - and has evened the club record of tries within a season whilst not even starting at the start of the season.

John Olzard is a definite saint in 04. We're really sad to see him go, but Sheens wouldn't give him a shot so he's moving on to somewhere he has a chance. You won't be disappointed. He ain't the fastest, but he is a strong defender, loves to get his hands dirty and do the tough work rucking it out from your own 20, is a more than handy goal kicker, and has filled in very very well in the back row for us at times. Hopefully he'll prove what a good aquisition he his by helping the Maggies end your season for good on Saturday.

Olzard is playing backrow?

Just shows how stupid Souths are - they played him on the wing.
