If touchies werent equally as bad at their job he likely loses us the game last night. He passed the ball a mile forward inside of our 40 on a 7 tackle set in golden point. It was ignored but that doesn't make it any worse. Touchies call that. Tigers get a fresh set in our half and almost certainly win. He threw away the game but touchies missed it

When rating players I dont take into account the amount of time they are on the field. I judge on what they contribute to the team while they are on the field.

So for instance, the Katoa v Egan debate, even thou Katoa was on the field longer I felt they were both average and scored them the same. The player has no control over how long he is on the field so I dont feel this should be reflected in the players score.

Tackling is 50% of his job. You can ramble all you like. A 3 is ridiculous.

I thought RCG played pretty well. It seems by the ratings I'm about the only one.

Ive got no doubt egan is the better player than katoa but hard to prove that at the moment when katoa doing f all for 60 mins and egan gets 15 or so at the end of each game.Katoa is slow and asleep at dummy half threw a couple of forward passes and threw 1 ball 20 out from our line that almost ended up in our ingoal to no one.

Katoa looked a lot better last night. Hopefully he's on a path to improving. A running game adds so much to hooker.

JFH though. I wanted to give him a 10. But his 8 missed tackles was second only to Jimmy. So instead everyone else is rated against him.
